As with regular massage, prenatal massage aims to relax tight muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and flexibility, and generally make you feel good. Being tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies, our therapists will adjust their techniques accordingly.

Most women find it uncomfortable to lie facedown right from the start of pregnancy and can't lie facedown on a traditional massage table once their belly has started to grow. We use a specialist full body support pillow, so you can lie on your tummy whilst supporting your bump. We find that most of our ladies don't want to get up!

I began my education in Podiatry at Salford University in 2003, where I gained my degree. Once qualified I went on to work for the NHS where I remained till 2022. Eventually establishing myself in my own capacity I reduced my NHS hours to build on my private clientele, which resulted in my having a two-year contract with HMP (Her Majesty’s Prison service) and numerous private clinic placements.

My predominant interest lies in Nail surgery, high risk wound care and routine treatments. My customer care goals are to relieve a client’s discomfort and enable them to walk again pain free and at ease. It those results that give me personal job satisfaction.

In my career I have encountered many cases of Rheumatoid and Diabetic aliments. This inspired me to gain further education to increase my knowledge regarding these foot complaints. When I’m not working, I love the combative sports of boxing and a Martial Art called Krav Maga. I also enjoy leisurely walks, the great outdoors, travel and spending time with partner and friends. I also have an interest in Holistic therapies.

I became interested in the physiological and psychological benefits of massage 10 years ago and decided to train as a holistic therapist. Treating a person emotionally and physically just made complete sense to me. I studied at St Helens college, the Manchester school of Massage, Sylvia Hodge College of Health and Beauty and the Christie School of Oncology. Since then I’ve worked in a wide range of environments; including carers centres, leisure centre spas, and an Oncology unit, providing holistic support to patients receiving cancer treatments and chemotherapy. I have spent the last ten years gaining knowledge and experience and have learnt that everybody is unique and my treatment plans reflect this, they are tailor made to suit the individual’s needs.

I think I’m more passionate now than ever about holistics, seeing the results over the years and knowing what a difference it can make to people’s lives. I believe that no matter how much knowledge and experience we gain there is always so much more to learn. I think that we should be kinder to ourselves and to look at massage as less of a ‘treat’ or ‘pamper’ and more as part of our healthcare regime.

Health and fitness plays a big role in my life, with any spare time spent keeping active with the family, swimming, running or walking with the dogs. Past hobbies have included scuba diving; future ventures include open water swimming and canoeing.

I qualified from Autonoma University (Barcelona, Spain) with a BSc Physiotherapy in 2013. Since graduating I have worked in different clinics and mainly in the private sector. I have always been involved in sports so I specialised in musculoskeletal and sport therapies. My areas of interest include shoulder, knees and spinal conditions. More recently I have completed further training in acupuncture and all its benefits.

I love to be constantly learning and growing as a professional to increase my knowledge and provide the best treatment possible. What I like most about being a physiotherapist is seeing how patients improve to recover and enjoy their normal activities as before.

In my free time you can find me climbing, running or playing basketball. I enjoy watching football as a Barcelona fan. I am also very passionate about nature and I love hiking and traveling when I can.

I qualified from Liverpool University with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy in 1998. After two years I specialised in musculoskeletal pain, developing a particular interest in the treatment of headaches and migraine. Initially working for the NHS, I stepped out into self-employment and founded PremierPhysio in 2007; driven by a passion to improve health and well-being with high quality treatment and customer service. Over 16 years later, we have a loyal client base and with the help of an excellent team of staff, I believe we are well on the road to achieving this.

After 26 years, I can honestly say I still love my work and every day is different. There is nothing more rewarding than to help someone achieve their goals and a better quality of life. In my spare time, I enjoy going to Yoga, walking and bike rides. I am proud to have managed a parachute jump, but have no ambition to do another!

Having travelled widely and undertaken many courses in healing and alternative therapies, I made the decision in 2003 to stop working and start a life changing Holistic Therapies diploma in my hometown of Cumbria. My first job was in North Lakes Spa in Penrith, later moving to Cheshire when I met my husband. Working at Cottons Spa in 2005, I became Senior Therapist then Treatments Manager before moving to Rookery Hall in 2007. During this time I had lots of babies (who also enjoy therapies) and continued to offer holistic therapies to very willing family and friends.

I started at PremierPhysio in October 2015… It’s the best job I have ever had…. wonderful clients, amazing colleagues. I plan to expand my energy work and move into crystal therapy in the future. I am passionate about my family, walking, laughing, being outdoors and generally raising vibrations with as much positivity as possible. My dream is to do therapies on Glastonbury Tor (my favourite place) at various stone circles and on The Camino De Santiago in Spain!!!

From a young age, I was captivated by how the human body heals, leading me to pursue a degree in Physiotherapy. Eager to specialise, I furthered my education with a degree in Sports Rehabilitation, focusing on musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries.

My passion for MSK injuries brought me to the world of elite sports, where I worked with top athletes. This experience taught me how to diagnose and treat injuries quickly and effectively, helping athletes return to peak performance.

I have dedicated myself to treating both chronic and acute injuries. For acute injuries, I focus on rapid assessment and intervention, using techniques like manual therapy and customizsed exercises. Chronic injuries require a deeper understanding, and I create personalised treatment plans to address underlying causes and prevent future issues.

In my practice, I combine the latest research with proven techniques, educating patients on injury prevention and overall physical health. My approach ensures comprehensive care, aiming for sustainable recovery.

Driven by a passion for helping others, I am committed to advancing the field of MSK injury diagnosis and treatment. My goal is to help everyone, from elite athletes to everyday patients, overcome physical challenges and achieve their full potential.

I have worked as a Holistic and Sports Massage therapist since 1996, joining PremierPhysio on 2022. My favourite part of the job is meeting people from all walks of life and knowing that I am playing a small part in their overall well- being. I offer a variety of treatments, including the Stress Buster massage, focusing on the back, neck and shoulders. Hot stones are used during the session, heating the muscles from within. Hot stones increase lymph flow encouraging the body to detox and heal. Indian head massage, Swedish massage, pregnancy massage, facial massage and Reflexology are all great treatments to aid relaxation.

I also provide Sports massage, which can improve strength, endurance and received regularly, can help prevent injuries.

My hobbies and interests include swimming, paddle-boarding, reading and walking my beloved dog. I also practice Yoga and like to travel.
